A Call to Resolution, Restoration, and Realignment

The 8th month of the year has approached us quickly, and I do not believe things are going to slow down.  The number 8 represents new beginnings, restoration, and abundance.  While we often get excited and celebrate the idea of new beginnings and a fresh start, we must pause and ask:  Are we truly prepared to walk in the fullness of what new beginnings require?

Abundance does not just arrive.  Restoration is not automatic.  New beginnings demand resolve, alignment, and unwavering faith.

No More Straddling the Fence

It’s time for the Body of CHRIST to stop wavering between two opinions and lifestyles.  The days of lukewarm living must come to an end.  We must choose, completely and boldly, whom we are going to serve.  There is no middle ground, either we are serving GOD or the devil.  The call and decision need to be clear; make a decision and stand firm in it, no matter what happens.

This is not the season for indecisiveness. A double-minded man is unstable in all of his ways (James 1:8).  It’s time for clarity, conviction, commitment, and strategic movement.

Strategic Faith for the Remainder of 2025

The decisions that we make now, how we plan, pray, and position ourselves, will become the launch pad for 2026.  This is a divine moment to be intentional and strategic.  No more being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine, every storm, every situation, or emotional waves.  We must be planted, steadfast, and unmovable, always abounding in the work of the LORD and in our faith in the LORD JESUS CHRIST (I Corinthians 15:58; Ephesians 4:14; Jeremiah 17:8).

It's About Heart Posture

This is not about religious performances, routines, competition, gifts, talents, or abilities.  This is about cultivating a deep, intimate relationship with the HOLY SPIRIT.  It’s about worshipping and honoring the FATHER from the heart and not just from head knowledge of who HE is.  True transformation begins with heart posture (John 4:24)

Let’s get honest!  Let’s get real!  Let’s get free!

Questions That Lead to Freedom

Ask yourself:

  • Who or what have I not forgiven?

  • What am I still holding on to that GOD has released me from?

  • What story am I telling myself that contradicts the WORD of GOD?

  • What pain have I avoided because denial feels safer?

  • Why am I more connected to my addictions than to the HOLY SPIRIT?

  • Who am I still waiting on to admit they hurt me, when they may never have the capacity to do so?

These are not easy questions, but they are necessary ones.  Be transparent, vulnerable, and honest with yourself and the HOLY SPIRIT.

Freedom Is Found in Forgiveness

It took time—years of lessons wrapped in pain and revelation, for me to understand that my freedom was never tied to someone else’s apology or acknowledgment. True freedom came when I chose to forgive, to release, and to move forward. That choice included extending grace to myself.

I recall a particularly challenging season when I struggled with deep disappointment. Someone I trusted hurt me deeply, and I kept waiting and hoping they would acknowledge the pain they caused me and my children. I called them and acknowledged the pain I caused them, but it was not reciprocated; the apology never came. The longer I waited, the more I realized I was holding myself hostage to their silence and lack of accountability. It wasn’t until I sat quietly with the HOLY SPIRIT, tears streaming down my face, that I heard Him whisper, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.  You do not have to justify yourself to anyone.  You must forgive because unforgiveness blocks your heart. I am with you”.  That moment shifted everything for me. I chose to forgive, not because they deserved it, but because I needed peace, healing, and more importantly, I did not want anything to interfere with my relationship with the LORD.

Forgiveness isn’t about excusing the hurt or validating the offense. It’s about liberating your soul from the weight of what was. It’s not for them, it’s for you.  Forgiveness is not complete without the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT.  Nothing is truly healed, lasting, or transformative apart from HIM.

So I ask you:

Are you ready to choose freedom?

Are you ready to forgive, release, and move forward, fully surrendered?

A Prayer for You 🙏🏾

Father GOD, I repent for anything that I have said and done to misrepresent your Kingdom and against you.  Forgive me for the people that I have hurt and disappointed.  I release everyone and every situation that has hurt and disappointed me.  I relinquish everything that is holding me hostage mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.  I give and trust you with all of my heart, mind, and soul. I fully submit and surrender to your spirit, authority, and will.

I thank you for the gift of new beginnings, for the promise of restoration, and for the abundance you have prepared for those who love and obey YOU.  HOLY SPIRIT, search me, reveal the place where unforgiveness, fear, and denial have taken root in my heart.  Help me to release what no longer serves YOUR purpose in my life.  Give me the courage to face the truth, the grace to forgive, and the strength to let go.

I surrender my plans, pain, and past to YOU.  I ask for divine strategy and supernatural clarity for the remainder of this year.  Let every decision I make be rooted in faith, not fear.  Let my heart be postured in worship, not performance.  May my life reflect YOUR glory and may my intimacy with YOU grow richer and deeper every day.  I love you!  I need you!  I want you!  In the matchless name of JESUS CHRIST!
